Training needs analysis for Saudi companies
Published 2026-10-23 · Last reviewed 2026-10-23 · Hikma Institute
A working method for separating a skill gap from a process, staffing, or incentive problem before you buy training.
What a TNA is
Training needs analysis compares the work you need with the work people can do today. The output is a short list of learning priorities, not a thick report that repeats the organization chart.
Questions worth asking
If people already know the task and still do not do it, training will not fix the incentive, the tool, or the approval chain. Ask managers for examples, not adjectives.
- Which decision or task fails, and how often?
- Who is affected: new hires, supervisors, specialists, contractors?
- What does good performance look like on this site?
- What evidence already exists: errors, audits, customer complaints, assessment scores?
- Is the gap knowledge, practice time, language, or authority?
How Hikma uses it
A Hikma corporate engagement can start with this diagnosis and then design delivery around it. The analysis is a professional service. It is not an audit opinion and it does not certify the organization.
