Emergency evacuation planning for Saudi workplaces
Published 2026-10-23 · Last reviewed 2026-10-23 · Hikma Institute
The decisions a workplace evacuation plan has to make, and the drills that show whether people can carry them out.
A plan is a set of decisions
An evacuation plan names the alarm, the routes, the assembly points, the people who help colleagues who cannot use stairs, and the person who decides when to re-enter. Civil Defense and the building’s own fire strategy remain the authorities for the premises. Training does not replace that approval.
- Routes and assembly points that match the building, including shift and contractor populations
- Wardens, and a deputy for each post
- A method for accounting for visitors
- A drill record: date, time to assemble, problems, and the fix
Training that supports the plan
Hikma can design evacuation, fire-warden, and emergency-response practice for a corporate group. The session produces attendance and a completion record. It does not certify the building.
